Welp. Here we go again.
As of Monday, November 23rd, the government of Ontario has announced that the City of Toronto will go into lock-down to slow down the spread of this dastardly Corona virus. For us here at Mandala, that means that our shop will be closed to in-store shopping visits until further notice.
This hits especially hard during the lead-up to a busy Holiday season when sales are usually picking up and we're stashing a little away to make it through the slow months of January and February. But, who am I kidding? This year has been anything but usual and we are all just doing what we can to make it through this Pandemic. So, we carry on.
For the time being, I'll be working alone in the studio, making new styles, fulfilling online orders and updating our web store with more accessories and gifts for the coming season. If you're local, you can still order online for curb-side pick-up and if you're further afield, I'll be reducing our "Free Shipping within Canada" purchase threshold to $75.00 from now until the end of the year.
Over the past months, you have commiserated with us, adapted to all of the new 'Pandemic-Procedures' and encouraged us with your unending support. I'm so thankful that you continue to see a place for small local businesses like Mandala in our community!
This has been one hell of a year but I'm hopeful that the finish line is in sight.
